At Be Someone Sports, we want to give every child an opportunity to play, learn, grow, and have the chance to win at sports. We offer recreational leagues with some competitive aspects, bridging the gap between non-competitive leagues and Select teams. Our programs are open to all skill levels and interests.
We also host Select tournaments and sports camps throughout the year. Whether your athlete is looking to play for fun or compete at a higher level, we have programs designed to suit any child.
Registration can be done online through our website at BeSomeoneSports.com. Select the “Register Now” button at the top of the home page. We know how exciting it can be to play on the same team as a friend or sibling. While we aim to honor requests for specific teammates when possible, we cannot guarantee placements for friends – but we do prioritize accommodating siblings. Please indicate your preferences during registration, and we'll make every effort to accommodate your request during the team formation process.
Our refund policy differs based on the program and specific circumstances. Typically, refunds are permitted up until your player is drafted to a team. However, if your family is facing extenuating circumstances, please reach out to us and we can address your situation individually.
We prioritize the safety of our athletes. In the event of inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances, we will communicate any cancellations or schedule changes promptly via email, text message, and through our social media channels. We will make every effort to reschedule practices or offer alternative arrangements in the event of a cancellation, whenever possible. Games will always be rescheduled, but canceled practices might not be rescheduled depending on gym/field availability.
Our sports programs are unique and offer an experience unlike any other league in the area. We understand costs of a program such as this can be out of reach for some families. To be considered for financial assistance, please email info@besomeonesports.com and include your need/request.
Be Someone Sports also allows donors to make anonymous and/or sponsored promotional donations. These donations go directly towards league dues and operations, allowing even more young athletes the opportunity to participate in our programs. If you are interested in becoming a donor, you can support our league here: link to donation page.
Most of our coaches are parent volunteers, and many have experience playing, coaching, or leading a team. We welcome coaches with little or no experience and do provide coaching clinics throughout the year. All coaches must pass a background check.
During the draft, every child will be placed on a team. The purpose of tryouts is to help us organize teams of similar competitive levels, ensuring a fair and enjoyable experience for all participants. Rest assured, no child will be cut from participation.
We strive to be inclusive and accommodating to all individuals, including those with special needs. Depending on the specific requirements, we may offer modified programs or provide additional support to ensure that everyone can participate and enjoy the benefits of sports. If you have questions or concerns about your child’s ability to participate, please contact us.
